Son of Edgar Bertram and Dorothy Mildred Blewett (née Manhire) of Teignmouth, Devon.
On Saturday the funeral took place at Teignmouth of Mr Cecil M Blewett, son of Mr and Mrs E. B. Blewett, of Anahorish, Mill Lane, who died at a military hospital. Before joining the forces deceased was on the staff of Lloyds Bank, Teignmouth. A service in the Methodist Church was conducted by Rev. A. J. Summerfield (superintendent minister), assisted by Rev. R. C. Nicole (acting padre at the hospital). Members of Teignmouth A.T.C. acted as bearers. The mourners were the parents; Mr and Mrs W. K. Blewett, brother and sister-in-law; Mr M. Blewett brother; Mrs T. M. Etherton and Miss M. Blewett, sisters; Mrs C Knight, aunt; Mrs Smith, Mr and Mrs H. Dodd, Mr Symons, Mrs and Mrs Bates (Plymouth).
